Saturday through Monday, Snowman Mania takes over the Recplex, indoors and out, with axe-throwing, lumberjack contests, yoga, movies and lots of entertainment. New business brings jobs and adds to the vibrancy of a community, always a good thing. With last year’s announcement that a new casino venue will be built in Wasaga Beach’s west end near the Mosley Street roundabout, Wasaga will welcome an exciting new addition to the growing community. The new complex will not focus solely on gaming, but also feature family-friendly offerings including Gateway Casinos’ signature dining. Ground-breaking for construction will happen this year.
